Will my policy cost extra through Traction?

No! We don’t mark up the cost or charge any additional fees. The price you pay with us is the same as you’d pay with the carrier directly but with the advantage of having an advocate that works for you and helps you navigate. We will do our best to make sure you have the best coverage at the best prices available.

What carriers do you work with? Are you a carrier?

We are not a carrier.  We are agents who help match motorsports drivers with underwriting companies.  Our annual track day insurance policies are underwritten by Texas Insurance Company, with an AMBest “A” rating for stability.  Policies are sold through OpenTrack.

Can I get covered for on street and on track in a single policy?

We can help you get coverage for your car on the street and on the track.  It almost always will be two separate policies, but we regularly help get our customers coverage for both driving on public roads and on the track.

Can you help me get coverage for car with a non-standard VIN?

Yes!  We deal with this situation of all of the time.  We can help you get annual track day coverage even if your car has a non-traditional VIN because it is a purpose built race car, a kit car, imported vehicle or other reason.

How many track days do I need to go to for it to be worth buying an annual policy?

While there are additional benefits to the annual track day insurance policy that you won’t get with a single day/single event policies, most people see a direct savings if they go 8 or more times per year.
