Race Car Insurance Experts By Fellow Racers

We understand what it’s like trying to get a race car covered.  From roll cages to open cockpit cars, we’ve probably gotten it covered.  And while these types of cars may concern traditional insurance companies and agents, we specialize in it!

Why?  Because we’re track enthusiasts and racers ourselves.  We know how to get these cars covered because we started by getting our own track and race cars covered.

Plus, we don’t need “tricks” to get your car covered like many agents.  We partner with carriers and underwriters that actively look for track and race cars to cover, even if they are street driven.

Often Cheaper Than Traditional Insurance

Our enthusiast carrier partners know car people treat their cars different.  Drive them less, are more careful with them, maintain them properly and even give them the better spot in the garage or driveway.  All of this can mean less risk.  That’s why those who qualify for enthusiast insurance can save on average up to 40% vs. traditional insurance policies.

Protection Whether It's Street Driven Or Not

For non street driven cars we have storage, trailer and paddock policies that cover you while in storage, at the repair shop, on the trailer (including loading and unloading), in the paddock.  Pretty much everywhere but on the racing surface.  Even at hotels when traveling overnight.

Drive your race car on the street?  We can help you with that too!

No matter how you use your dedicated track car, we’ve got a coverage plan for you.

Your Questions Answered.

There are a lot of agents who say they know cars, but how many of them really do?  How many specialize in just cars for serious enthusiasts? We’re experts because it’s all we do.

Will my policy cost extra through Traction?

No! We don’t mark up the cost or charge any additional fees. The price you pay with us is the same as you’d pay with the carrier directly but with the advantage of having an advocate that works for you and helps you navigate. We will do our best to make sure you have the best coverage at the best prices available.

My car is a kit, replica or converted race car, can you really get it covered for driving on public roads?

Yes!  While every situation is unique, in most cases we can get you insurance even if you car is not a typical street driven car.  And while we can help ensure you have coverage, we cannot guarantee your state will accept your registration for non-insurance reasons.

What carriers do you work with? Are you a carrier?

We are not a carrier.  We are agents who help match enthusiasts with underwriting companies.  We have over a dozen specialty enthusiast insurance carriers.  Your typical agent may only have 1-2 and may only place a handful of enthusiast cars a year.  We place 100s!

My race car isn't a typical track or race car, can you still help me?

Yes!  Depending on your use and situation we help all kinds of non-typical enthusiast and race cars get coverage.

Can I get covered for on street and on track in a single policy?

We can help you get coverage for your car on the street and on the track.  It almost always will be two separate policies, but we regularly help get our customers coverage for both driving on public roads and on the track.

Can you help me get coverage for car with a non-standard VIN?

Yes!  We deal with this situation of all of the time.  We can help you get coverage even if your car has a non-traditional VIN because it is a purpose built race car, a kit car, imported vehicle or other reason.

Can you help me with my get coverage for my JDM or other imported car?

Yes!  We have partners who actively want JDM import business and seek out those kinds of cars to cover.  Short VIN, gray market or any other kind of import.  And while we can help ensure you have coverage, we cannot guarantee your state will accept your registration for non-insurance reasons.
