Why Traction Is Different

Traction Expertise

Experience the difference when your insurance expert is an authentic car person

Works With Your Existing Regular Auto And Home Policy

Many Umbrella policies from traditional insurance carriers require you to bundle any covered items like regular autos and homes.  With an Umbrella through Traction, you are free to use your existing personal auto and home carrier.  Plus, it combines great with one of our many specialty insurance products.

So no more worrying about whether you’ll actually get the right value, or if you can get it repaired correctly.   Even when you are not at fault.

Expanded Coverage Offerings

Coverages up to $5,000,000 dollars, up to 25 specialty insured vehicles and optional excessive uninsured/underinsured motorist options available mean you have expanded choice.  You don’t have to be locked into the way your current carriers bundled Umbrella works.

An Umbrella With The Freedom To Use Your Car How You Want

Enthusiast and collector car friendly Umbrella means you don’t have to worry about your excess liability carrier knowing how you enjoy your hobby.  Plus, we can help you understand what activities are and are not covered, instead of awkward guessing games.

Why Buy Umbrella Or Liability Insurance Thru Traction?

We help numerous motorsports enthusiasts get the right coverage.  Getting your liability policy through Traction not only means expertise, it means having an advocate.

Will my policy cost extra through Traction?

No! We don’t mark up the cost or charge any additional fees. The price you pay with us is the same as you’d pay with the carrier directly but with the advantage of having an advocate that works for you and helps you navigate. We will do our best to make sure you have the best coverage at the best prices available.

Can your Umbrella offering cover me on track?

Our standard Umbrella would not provide coverage on track.  However, we do have a separate offering that provides liability protection on track.   If you are interested in liability protection on track, contact us today and we’ll be glad to help you understand your potential options.

What carriers do you work with? Are you a carrier?

We are not a carrier.  We are agents who help match car and motorsports enthusiasts with best fit carriers.  Since we are car and track enthusiasts ourselves, we’ve developed our offerings and expertise exclusively in these areas.  So our focus is on aligning your need with the right company.

Can I get covered for on street and on track in a single policy?

We can help you get coverage for your car on the street and on the track.  It almost always will be two separate policies, but we regularly help get our customers coverage for both driving on public roads and on the track.

Can you help me get coverage for car with a non-standard VIN?

Yes!  We deal with this situation of all of the time.  We can help you get annual track day coverage even if your car has a non-traditional VIN because it is a purpose built race car, a kit car, imported vehicle or other reason.

Can you cover my Exotic on track?

Yes!  We can help get you coverage for nearly any kind of car on track up to extremely high values of $500,000, and even more, including most exotics.  We do want to note some exotics, like Ferrari’s, may require underwriting so we don’t recommend waiting until just before your track day to inquire about coverage.
