Using this tool will allow Traction to:
To gain one time access to your Declaration (dec) Page(s)
Traction and InsurGrid:
WILL NOT have on going access to your documents other than the one time retrieval
WILL NOT share, store or save any passwords
WILL NOT have access to make changes to your insurance policies or accounts
WILL NOT be able to retrieve new information in the future without your approval and requesting access again
Traction uses a common insurance industry tool InsurGrid to allow us quick and easy access to an insurance document knowns as a Declarations Page (or Dec Page). Declaration Pages are standard on nearly every auto policy. Because of the nature of many of the specialty policies Traction sells, it often requires we provide a copy of your declaration page to your new enthusiast, specialty or collector carrier.
Finding and downloading this document in the specific format required can be complicated. And in some cases, requires you to contact your insurance company or agent, which can be awkward. This tool grants us limited access to your documents in the format we need. Traction does not gain access to your insurance account, nor do get to see or are shared any usernames or passwords. The tool has partnered with dozens of insurance companies, allowing you to login and authorize a 1 time retrieval of your policy dec pages which is sent to us automatically as a way to simplify the process.
