What Is A Dec or Declaration Page?
It is an insurance document known as a Declarations Page (or Dec Page). Declaration Pages are standard on nearly every auto policy. It is the first (or one of the first) pages that offers a detailed summary who, what and at what levels are covered.

Most carriers allow you to download a PDF copy of your Declaration Page when accessing your policy. Below we have directions for some popular mainstream insurance carriers, and we will continue to add or update the list as needed.
How Do I Find My Dec Page?
Finding Your Progressive Dec Page
1. Login to your Progressive online Account or Progressive App
2. View your policy
3. Select Proof Of Insurance. May also be under Documents.
4. Select Dec Page. Download as a complete PDF if possible.
Finding Your USAA Dec Page
1. Login to your USAA online Account or USAA App
2. View your policy
3. Select View Documents (typically at the bottom of the page/screen)
4. Select Dec Page. It may be under “All” or “Insurance”. May also be combined with your policy documents.
Finding Your State Farm Dec Page
1. Login to your State Farm online Account
2. Select My Accounts, then view your policy
3. Select View Policy Documents
4. Find Your Dec Page in the documents.
Finding Your AAA Dec Page
- Log In: Go to AAA.com and sign in with your credentials.
- Manage Insurance: Select the My Insurance or Manage My Insurance option.
- Find Documents: Navigate to the policy section, choose your policy, and select View Documents or View Policy to access the declaration page and ID cards.
- Download/Print: Select the option to download or print your policy documents (PDF format).
Alternative Methods:
Mobile App: Use the Auto Club App and look for “View/Print Policy Details” or “Proof of Insurance”.
Finding Your Dec Page
While we’re attempting to add directions on obtaining your dec page from every major carrier, we haven’t gotten there yet. Typically your Dec Page can be found in one of the following ways:
1. Online via your carriers website or app, typically while viewing your Auto Policy under “Documents”
2. Your renewal packet typically includes your dec page.
3. If you have an agent they can typically email you your dec page. Some agents may not be eager to share despite it being a standard document that in most cases you are entitled to. We recommend one of the self service options.
