Assetto Corsa EVO
Today 505 Games announced that Assetto Corsa EVO, the highly anticipated sequel to mod and enthusiast favorite Assetto Corsa, will launch into early access on January 16th, 2025.
Assetto Corsa EVO is a hot anticipated to be the first true successor to the original Assetto Corsa. Assetto Corsa EVO is expected to see fully licensed cars and tracks from major brands including Porsche.
Assetto Corsa has long been considered a favorite for racing and track enthusiasts. It’s highly accessible and it’s ability to support mods meant nearly any kind of car made it ideal for drivers to learn lines and track layouts for nearly any real world track they may drive on.
As with its predecessor, Assetto Corsa EVO will include cars from different classes spanning across years of motoring history. From road cars, classics, hypercars, and race cars. The most iconic representation of the automotive and motorsport world. Each vehicle is reproduced through an advanced system that simulates mechanical, electronic, and aerodynamic performance, combined with the fidelity of the circuits created using Laserscan technology.
In addition, 505 games has confirmed VR support at launch. 505 Games has not confirmed whether there will be mod support. Given the extensive authentic licensing, it’s expected mod support is unlikely to be included or may not be released until further into the products lifecycle.
Assetto Corsa is expected to launch first on Steam for Windows PC. Latest generation console versions for XBox Series X/S and PS5/PS5 Pro are expected to follow.
