Traction and Swish Motorsports Teaming Up
Today, Traction and the No 12 Swish Motorsports team announce they are teaming up. is battling this weekend in the GSX class of the IMSA VP Racing Sportscar Challenge.
The Swish Motorsports team, behind driver Patrick Wilmot, who finished 2nd in the overall stands in GSX in 2024, including a double podium finish at Petit Le Mans. Patrick currently also holds a streak of 6 straight IMSA race event weekends where he has podiumed.
This is no ordinary story sponsorship. On Monday of this week Patrick didn’t know he would be racing. He set out on a wild, 48 hour drive to raise the necessary sponsorships to compete. All this despite being 2nd overall in GSX the previous season.
Traction, who is known for partnering and supporting grass roots track and motorsports events immediately stepped in to support Patrick and Swish’s efforts to get to the Roar Before The 24. In less than 48 hours, Patrick had secured the necessary sponsorships to go racing.
