Traction Sponsors 5th Annual Drivers Festival

ATLANTA, GA — Traction, the Atlanta-based insurance agency built specifically for car enthusiasts, has announced its sponsorship of the 5th Annual Drivers Festival, taking place Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Drivers Festival is a one-of-a-kind charity car show and gathering for track, race, drift, exotic, and high-performance driving enthusiasts. Now in its fifth year, the event brings together drivers, cars, and community for a day of connection over a shared passion — while raising money for the Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter.

Don’t let the “car show” and “brewer” fool you, this event is by drivers, for drivers, and is one of the most unique car events you’ll experiencer this year.

What’s Happening at This Year’s Drivers Festival

Drivers Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. As it has for the last 4 years, the event takes over Pontoon Brewing in Sandy Springs including much of the surrounding parking. Organizers expect this year’s turnout to build on the 150+ display cars and hundreds of attendees the festival has drawn in recent years.

Showcase. A separate, invite-only Showcase puts a curated group of standout track, race, and high-performance cars front and center on a dedicated “main stage” area. Showcase entrants are typically field experts or businesses serving the racing community, and selected vehicles can receive event entry credits, free swag, and other perks.

Charity Car Show. The heart of the event is a car show open to track, race, endurance, exotic, high-performance, drift, and drag cars — plus an open/unlimited class for anything else people want to bring out. Categories are typically organized by group (Track, Race, Exotic, High Performance, Open/Unlimited), plus an overall People’s Choice award, and every car is eligible. True to the festival’s charity-first spirit, there are no professional judges — awards are decided by “votes” that attendees earn through registration, raffle purchases, and donations, so every dollar raised doubles as a ballot for a favorite car. Vehicle registration is $25 and includes reserved display parking, car show entry, and admission, with proceeds going to the Atlanta Children’s Shelter. Trailer parking is available for trailered race cars.

Community activities. Beyond the cars, the festival includes food trucks, beer for guests 21 and up (Pontoon Brewing is, after all, a brewery), a kids’ area with family-friendly activities, live music, games, and a charity raffle benefiting the Atlanta Children’s Shelter. The event is designed to be family-friendly, and organizers describe it as much a gathering of the driving community — swapping stories with racers and track-day veterans — as it is a car show.

Attending as a spectator is by suggested $10 donation, with all proceeds benefiting the Atlanta Children’s Shelter.

Why Traction Sponsors

“Drivers Festival is exactly the kind of event Traction was built for,” the company said. “It’s a celebration of people who live and breathe cars — the same community we serve every day. Sponsoring this event is a chance to give back to that community while supporting a great cause.”

Traction offers specialty coverage for nearly every kind of car enthusiast, from weekend and show cars to dedicated track and race cars, drift builds, exotics, and full collections. Rather than treating enthusiast vehicles like standard daily drivers, Traction works to provide coverage that matches how these cars are actually used — on the street, on the track, or on display.

As a sponsor, Traction joins a lineup of automotive and motorsports brands supporting this year’s Drivers Festival, including Chevrolet, MCS (Motion Control Suspension), Atlanta Region SCCA, Just Track It, Jzilla Track Days and more.
