Wear Your Helmet To Work Day

This Friday April 25th is Wear Your Helmet To Work Day, that we tongue in cheek call National Wear Your Helmet To Work Day as a fun way to amp up it’s significance.

While not an officially recognized federal holiday, this annual day of celebration by track enthusiasts and racers across the country was actually started by Motorsports Marketing and Grassroots Motorsports. Annually they publish a date where they encourage you to wear your helmet to work and share pictures. You can even win a brand new helmet from one of their sponsors by participating.

For the rest of us, much like Valentine’s Day and other “hallmark” holidays, it’s fun to join in, even if we don’t plan to enter to win a helmet or offer some promotion. We can still use the opportunity to celebrate our love for our hobby.
